    Frédérique KRUPA

    Dr. Frédérique Krupa, director of the Digital Design Lab at l’école de design Nantes Atlantique, is a UX designer and former design professor at Parsons School of Design, RISD, UofArts, and Paris College of Art, where she founded and chaired the Masters (MA & MFA) in Transdisciplinary New Media.

    Her research focuses on establishing AI UX methods, a holistic, transdisciplinary and systemic approach to create fair, accountable and transparent machine learning data, algorithms and predictive models.

    Frédérique KRUPA’s link to Laval Virtual dates back twenty years to her days at Virtools SA and Dassault Systèmes.

    Morgan Bouchet’s mission will primarily consist of coordinating communication efforts across a vast region encompassing Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Centre-Val de Loire, and Normandy. In addition to leading the influence strategy and energizing the industry network, he will be responsible for developing and promoting initiatives related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

    With strong expertise in digital innovation, Morgan Bouchet began his career at TBWA, a renowned communication agency, where he supported luxury brands and media companies in their transition to digital. He later played an active role in the digital transformation of Orange’s products and services, notably contributing to projects such as Wanadoo, Goa, Orange Content, and Products & Services within Orange Innovation.

  • David NAHON

    David NAHON

    David Nahon has been a pioneer in the commercial history of software solutions for VR, having directed the development of the first Immersive Room running on PCs (the SAS Cube in 2001) and the first commercial game engine for VR (Virtools VR Pack in 2003).

    Since 1995, he has built dozens of immersive user experience for public exhibitions (beginning with Z-A.net) and have been actively involved in the VR scientific community, giving him a highly qualified view on both technologies and human factors.

    Within Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE Lab, David incubates new business experiences, researching value in the 11 industries addressed by the group, leveraging the network of emerging technology partners he animates.

    David is also a key animator of the global French VR community, having co-funded AFXR.org, the leading French association on XR, and being its President.

    Marie LEBLANC

    Marie Leblanc is a French industrial designer, expert in XR uses, who has specialized in innovation for over 20 years. She has worked in various design fields: Product Design, Transport Design, Space Design, Service Design, Packaging, Colors and Materials, Print/Web Design, 3D Animation, UI/UX Design, Brand Identity. Trained at the Fachhochschule für Gestaltung in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany, and a graduate of the École de Design Nantes Atlantique, she now manages work packages for European projects such as R3GROUP and DEDIHCATED BFC within AMVALOR. She also supports industrial partners in their use of immersive technologies.

    Anatole LECUYER

    Anatole Lécuyer is Director of Research and member of Seamless team at Inria, Rennes, France. He has been leading a research activity on “virtual Reality” for the past 25 years.

    He was involved in numerous international collaborations such as with European “GuestXR” or “NIW” projects. He initiated and still leads the OpenViBE open-source software, and co-founded the Mensia startup company. He authored more than 200 scientific publications and 15 patents.

    He served notably as program chair and general chair of IEEE VR conference and associate editor of IEEE TVCG journal. He obtained the Inria-French Academy of Sciences “Young Researcher Prize” in 2013, and was inducted in the IEEE Virtual Reality Academy in 2022.

    Thierry BENOIST
    Thierry Benoist is a senior scientist in the field of Information and Communication Technology. He manages projects at the European Commission, in particular overseeing activities in the field of scientific communication leveraging high-end digital technology. Over the last 15 years working for the European Institutions, he has led projects in diverse areas ranging from experimental cybersecurity to dissemination of public information under the EU REACH regulation on chemicals. He has also contributed in activities supporting EU humanitarian and crisis management mechanisms in collaboration with the UN, and is co-inventor of a patented tsunami alert device. Before working with the European Institutions, he was a subcontractor for NASA and ESA to design man machine interfaces in Augmented and Virtual Reality.
