XR doctoral students have their say
The Doctoral Consortium are an opportunity for doctoral students togain critical feedback on their work, share their discoveries, develop their network of contacts, enhance their skills and perfect their caree plans through meetings with companies and research laboratories.
On the program: oral and poster presentations of current research work by young researchers enrolled in a doctoral thesis or who have defended their thesis within the last year.
Applications are open until January 15.
How to register for the Doctoral Consortium?
For students
Doctoral students or PhDs who have graduated less than a year before attending Doctoral Consortium Laval Virtual must purchase a “Student Pass” + the “Doctoral Consortium” option (with or without a poster or lecture presentation, it’s the same price).
For professionals
For supervisors, exhibitors and visitors, a “Full Pass” or a Laval Virtual “Club Pass” is required.
Meeting people and forging links
Doctoral students also have the opportunity to meet with XR companies at the Laval Virtual trade show, creating productive and exciting exchanges.
Organized in partnership withAFXR, the Doctoral Consortium Laval Virtual are a unique opportunity for young researchers in the field of XR (virtual, mixed or augmented reality, metavers…) from France, Europe and elsewhere to meet and create lasting friendly and professional links within an active international community.
