    Valériane LOISON

With a doctorate in Information and Communication Sciences, my research focuses on the use and appropriation of virtual reality simulation tools in vocational training and higher education. My work adopts a multidisciplinary approach, drawing on Information and Communication Sciences as well as insights from Education Sciences, Sociology, Psychology, Ergonomics, and Computer Science. It contributes to research on Information and Communication Technologies for Education (ICTE), particularly on the mediations (pedagogical, technical, organizational, and human) at play within training programs and at their various levels during the introduction of ICTE. My research methodology relies on longitudinal and systemic studies, combined with a mixed-methods approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative data with on-site observations.
