    Michael BARNGROVER

    En tant que directeur général de XR4Europe, Michael Barngrover dirige une association industrielle paneuropéenne visant à soutenir et à promouvoir l’innovation XR en Europe.

    En plus de ses activités de mise en relation, de recherche et de réflexion stratégique, XR4Europe participe à plusieurs projets financés par l’Union européenne : XR4HUMAN, OPENVERSE et VR HEALTH CHAMPIONS. À travers ces initiatives, XR4Europe joue un rôle actif dans l’engagement des parties prenantes européennes dans l’initiative stratégique de l’UE pour les Mondes Virtuels et le Web 4.0.

  • Anatole LECUYER

    Anatole LECUYER

    Anatole Lécuyer is Director of Research and member of Seamless team at Inria, Rennes, France. He has been leading a research activity on “virtual Reality” for the past 25 years.

    He was involved in numerous international collaborations such as with European “GuestXR” or “NIW” projects. He initiated and still leads the OpenViBE open-source software, and co-founded the Mensia startup company. He authored more than 200 scientific publications and 15 patents.

    He served notably as program chair and general chair of IEEE VR conference and associate editor of IEEE TVCG journal. He obtained the Inria-French Academy of Sciences “Young Researcher Prize” in 2013, and was inducted in the IEEE Virtual Reality Academy in 2022.

  • Thierry BENOIST

    Thierry BENOIST
    Thierry Benoist is a senior scientist in the field of Information and Communication Technology. He manages projects at the European Commission, in particular overseeing activities in the field of scientific communication leveraging high-end digital technology. Over the last 15 years working for the European Institutions, he has led projects in diverse areas ranging from experimental cybersecurity to dissemination of public information under the EU REACH regulation on chemicals. He has also contributed in activities supporting EU humanitarian and crisis management mechanisms in collaboration with the UN, and is co-inventor of a patented tsunami alert device. Before working with the European Institutions, he was a subcontractor for NASA and ESA to design man machine interfaces in Augmented and Virtual Reality.

    Simon Richir, ing, Ph.D., est professeur à l’Institut de technologie des Arts et Métiers, LAMPA, HESAM Université, France ; co-fondateur et président scientifique de Laval Virtual International Conference ; co-rédacteur en chef de IJVR.eu. Ses activités de recherche et d’enseignement se concentrent sur l’innovation technologique, le processus de conception technique, l’idéation, les projets innovants, la gestion et l’utilisation innovante des nouvelles technologies de pointe telles que la réalité virtuelle ou la réalité augmentée.
