Diego Vilela Monteiro, PhD, is a Human-Computer Interaction researcher and Responsable for the XR at ESIEA, France. His work focuses on XR, cybersickness, haptics, and AI-driven interaction. He leads innovative projects bridging VR/AR design, neuroscience, and GPU computing, and actively mentors master’s and PhD students. Passionate about cross-cultural collaboration, he develops partnerships across Europe and Asia to advance immersive technology research.

Alexandra SIERRA
Alexandra Sierra was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and is the founder of Justin Beaver, a Netherlands-based company dedicated to climate change education for children and teachers using virtual reality and artificial intelligence technologies. She is also Director of XR ACADEMIA, a series of international conferences and publications for educators and researchers focusing on virtual reality and advanced technologies with international impact. She holds a PhD in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence from Tilburg University. As an expert researcher in immersive learning technologies – including virtual, augmented and mixed reality – and conventional technologies such as educational platforms, robotics and video games, Alexandra brings a combination of business and technological knowledge to her role. In 2021, Alexandra received an award for her groundbreaking research into immersive technologies at Laval Virtual, France, and in 2023, she received the Erasmus University of Applied Sciences Business Research Award for her work on Justin Beaver’s experiments in VR and AI. Looking ahead to 2025, she aims to expand her VR-based sustainability education initiatives to make an even greater social impact on a global scale.

Thierry Frey has over 25 years of experience in software development and project management in various fields: CADCAM, printing and publishing, 3D animation and live entertainment, augmented and virtual reality. He has been a long-time volunteer in the computer graphics field, an active member of ACM SIGGRAPH and a Board Member of Laval Virtual. Thierry holds a masters degree from Télécom ParisTech and a degree in computer graphics from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs.

Antony VITILO
Antony “Skarredghost” Vitillo est un développeur AR/VR, un entrepreneur et un blogueur. Il a commencé sa carrière en 2014 avec la startup VR corps entier ImmotionAR, et depuis lors, il s’est toujours efforcé de perturber l’espace des technologies immersives. En 2017, il a cofondé New Technology Walkers, avec laquelle il a développé le premier jeu de fitness en réalité mixte, HitMotion : Reloaded, avec le soutien de HTC. Depuis 2019, il travaille avec VRrOOm, développant des événements et des concerts innovants en RV, comme le concert Welcome To The Other Side de Jean-Michel Jarre, qui a recueilli plus de 75 millions de vues dans le monde. Le blog d’Antony, The Ghost Howls, est bien connu dans l’écosystème de la RV, et il est considéré par beaucoup comme un influenceur dans l’écosystème de l’industrie de la RV, ayant participé à d’importants événements mondiaux tels que View Conference, WCVRI, et AWE USA.

Andras KEMENY
Dr. Andras Kemeny est cofondateur et président de la Driving Simulation Association, ainsi que membre du conseil d’administration d’ASAM, une organisation allemande de normalisation automobile impliquée dans le développement d’outils de simulation pour la vérification et la validation des véhicules autonomes.
Il a été directeur du Laboratoire de Visualisation Immersive ENSAM-Renault depuis sa création en janvier 2011 jusqu’en 2021, ainsi que directeur scientifique d’A.V. Simulation, une entreprise spécialisée dans la simulation, éditrice du logiciel Scaner Studio © et filiale commune d’Oktal, Dassault Systèmes, UTAC et Renault, de sa création en juillet 2017 jusqu’en mars 2019. Par la suite, il a occupé le poste de président de son conseil scientifique d’avril 2019 à août 2024.
Il a également été expert leader en simulation immersive et réalité virtuelle pour Renault et professeur associé à Arts et Métiers. Acteur clé des domaines de la réalité virtuelle et de la simulation de conduite en France et en Europe, il est l’un des pionniers de la simulation de conduite et l’inventeur du logiciel de simulation SCANeR en 1990, aujourd’hui commercialisé par A.V. Simulation.

Jan PFLUEGER
Jan a été un des premiers à adopter les technologies numériques dans le domaine créatif. Il a exploré de nouvelles techniques d’interaction pour les environnements spatiaux aux débuts de la réalité virtuelle et a fondé le Centre de Compétence AR&VR chez Audi AG.
En tant que technologue créatif, il impulse aujourd’hui l’innovation au sein du design Audi. Avec son label advisXR, Jan conseille des startups et encourage les activités de mise en réseau afin de promouvoir et concrétiser l’avenir du domaine de la XR.
Dans sa mission pour un écosystème XR ouvert, il établit des partenariats et accompagne les entreprises dans leur parcours de transformation numérique.
