OAZA is the creative studio of Carla Nykiel, a plant artist who sculpts sensory artworks and experiences. Her signature, born from her visual impairment, transforms spaces into havens of well-being. By collaborating with talents like XR artist Mourdjen Bari, OAZA pushes the boundaries of plant art to create immersive "phygital" works, where matter and technology merge to tell new stories about the living world.

Art Installation and Mixed Reality
Onéira is a Mixed Reality experience merging a real plant sculpture with a virtual ecosystem. Controller-free, using hand-tracking, users "pinch" virtual seeds and plant them onto a tangible sphere made of preserved plants. Every gesture has an impact: planting the right tree in the right biome creates thriving biodiversity, while mistakes lead to withering. It's a poetic bridge between real touch and virtual growth, inspiring a deep connection with the living world.
