Mahōo

Mahōo is an XR experience inspired by the emotional impact of rainy days and echoes its connection to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Mahōo reimagines rainy days, transforming them from symbols of melancholy into sources of vitality. The name Mahōo blends the English word

Mahōo merges interactive VR storytelling with a sensor-equipped umbrella for an engaging experience. Players enter a fantasy world where they use the umbrella to control rain, gather clouds, make flowers bloom, and dance with an adorable fairy. The device, equipped with a flex sensor and dev board, syncs with VR to mirror real-world movements via WebSocket. Beyond its technical innovation, Mahōo redefines rain, transforming it from gloom to a source of vitality.
