Fabienne Giezendanner is a french and swiss filmmaker, writer, and independent producer whose work bridges animation, interactivity, and immersive storytelling. At the crossroads of cinema and new media, she crafts poetic worlds where fiction meets participation, from the game Yi and the malediction of celest emporor to the dreamlike immersive experience of Dreamin’Zone and Bloom.
Her creations travel across cultures and landscapes and more recently the daily life of children in Concentration camps with Hyde and Seek!. — inviting audiences to explore new ways of seeing and feeling. Selected at festivals such as the Venice Biennale, GIFF, and Annecy, her works have received international acclaim, including the INA Prize and Best VR Animation Award.
Beyond her VR expiences, she shares her passion for new forms of storytelling through teaching and collaboration.As a Member of CNXR, PXN, EliXR, and XN Swiss, she continues to imagine hybrid narratives where techno-logy and poetry intertwine.
