Diego Vilela Monteiro, PhD, is an HCI researcher who focuses on VR and e-health. He studied at respected institutions in Brazil, China and Germany. Currently based at ESIEA, in Laval, France, he conducts research into immersive technologies and user experience, and teaches at university level. His work focuses on VR applications in Unity, human-computer interaction, haptics and the educational effectiveness of VR. He is passionate about improving virtual environments for users through creative development.
