The Virtual Worlds Association (VWA) is a European non-profit association created in 2025. It builds bridges between industry, SMEs, universities and research organisations to accelerate the development and adoption of Virtual Worlds. Its objectives are to foster cutting-edge research, promote interoperability, enable training and dissemination, and contribute to the creation of ethical, sustainable and human-centred immersive technologies in Europe.
