The Basement
The Basement is an Unreal Engine VR/XR demo, containing more than 150 props, 15 materials and a full deferred scene with dynamic shadows and lights, using Nanite geometry. It uses NVIDIA's DLSS 4 for scaling and achieving a smoother framerate. The project represents the current state of the art visually in VR/XR games and applications with a scene equivalent in complexity and visual fidelity. It also supports XR video pass-through, allowing the real world to be visible through the garage door for Varjo headsets, along with native support for Varjo Controllers and Varjo hand tracking via OpenXR.
