Kim GRINFEDER

Kim Grinfeder is Professor and Founding Chair of Interactive Media at the University of Miami, directing UMVerse (UM’s AR/VR initiative) and the Virtual Experiences Simulation Lab (VESL). He leads Human-Centered Computing at the Frost Institute for Data Science and Computing. His award-winning immersive projects—spanning climate advocacy, healthcare innovation, and cultural preservation—have been recognized at the Smithsonian, HotDocs, and AWE, pushing the boundaries of spatial storytelling and social impact through XR and AI.
