A second edition for the LBE zone within the exhibition

An area dedicated to immersive entertainment

At the heart of the Laval Virtual exhibition, the LBE Experience returns for a second edition: a 500 m² area entirely dedicated to immersive entertainment.

Designed as a real event within the event, this area will showcase the entire LBE ecosystem:
• Content creators and immersive experience studios
• Suppliers of equipment and technical solutions
• Operators, distributors and venue operators

It is the ideal meeting place for technological innovation, artistic creation and sustainable economic models.

While Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) first developed in the entertainment sector (arcades, museums, parks, and immersive exhibitions), its applications now extend beyond leisure.

The technologies behind it (real-time motion capture, multi-user interaction, scenario planning) are now paving the way for new professional applications: collaborative design, immersive training, industrial simulation, and more.

By allowing multiple users to interact together in the same 1:1 virtual environment, LBE bridges the gap between gaming, learning, and operational performance.

With the LBE Experience, Laval Virtual acts as a laboratory for experiential innovation, where the boundaries between learning, designing, and playing are blurred to give rise to new practices.

When Laval Virtual becomes the playground for immersive entertainment

In 2025, the first edition of the LBE Experience brought together more than 700 visitors who came to preview Finding Vincent, a poetic experience inspired by the world of Van Gogh, created by Grande Experiences, UNIVRSE, and HTC VIVE. This immersion into the heart of color and light confirmed the creative and economic potential of immersive entertainment.

In 2026, the LBE Experience zone returns with new creations to explore. Come test, experience, and share the future of immersive entertainment, where innovation and emotion become one.

A rapidly expanding market

The Location-Based Entertainment market is expected to reach $350 billion by 2030. This growth is fueled by the reliability of XR technologies, the quality of equipment, and the growing need to share experiences with high emotional value.

Repeatable experiences without rebuilding infrastructure, automated and cost-effective facilities, and above all, collective emotions that are impossible to recreate at home.

Beyond the simple “wow” effect, LBE is now establishing itself as a major driver of entertainment and culture.
